Hmm, don't really like this im afriad. Have to say the subject looks quite menacing and isnt something i'd really want to look at. On the flip side, I like your choice of lighting and think you have taken the shot pretty well.

I like the concept, but I'm not terribly fond of the execution here. The lighting is interesting, but I agree with MrMagoo that the subject's expression is unpleasant, almost as if she was caught off guard and rather annoyed. +7

I find the credit very distracting – that’s always a bugbear of mine so I’ll get it out of the way real quick, but on this occasion it really does jump out at you.
And Black borders with images that blend into them just don’t do their job for me – the image gets lost in them and it’s difficult to appreciate the proportions of the picture.

The centred composition doesn’t really work for me either - I feel I’d like to see this in a portrait rather than landscape framing, or else more use of space on the right… but these are personal tinkerings…

The lighting/colouration is superb. I love the ‘metalic’ warmth of the colours like brass or bronze – the blend between the hair and skin textures is superb. The eyes look like enamelled pearl – they have a very ‘solid’ look to them.
The concept and execution is imaginative and forceful... it's only the finishing touches that detract a little for me...

I like the intensity in this shot. The black eyes really are piercing.

nice to meet you this is the first time I've scene you work, the textures of the skin are really dominant, and the stare is very convincing.
